My students were asking about GMOs the other day in science class, and in our discussion they grew more and more curious about what these foods are and how they can affect us. I wish I had had this video to show them right away, but I didn’t come across it until later.

When I did show it to them, my students found the visual very helpful, so I want to share it with you as well. After the video, I went on to say that this is what science is all about: wondering about something like the girl was curious about how long it would take potatoes to grow, then allowing those questions to lead to new questions, and then more experimenting. Now that’s real science!
