Looking for something different to do for Valentine's Day.  My students enjoyed this project and created lovely Valentines gluing these onto construction paper.

The project requires only a few materials: cereal boxes, string, glue stick, and Sharpie markers.  Here are the steps:

Apply glue stick to the front of the heart and lay on tin foil folding it over and gluing the back. You can glue another piece to cover this side as well.

These steps can be used with other shapes as well.  I have cut out ornament shapes for the Christmas season and they turn out quite lovely as well.
