Students Perform Columbus Musical

There is nothing more exciting than wrapping up a school year with a spring vocal concert, and that is just what we did last week. Sixth grade performed In Quest of Columbus, a musical.

So many people were part of making this program a success, including our music teacher who taught the songs to the kids, a great group of parents who spent hours with me to build a backdrop, and our other sixth grade teacher who helped with staging and script memorization. Fortunately, none of the parts were very long, and there were only two solos. We were blessed with two very talented young men who pulled off them off expertly.

I wish I had taken more photos, but I was so busy during the show that I only have these that someone snapped during rehearsal.

All in all, it was a great program!
